The Beauty of the Forest
By Ven. Horowpothane Sathindriya.
Some beautiful with flowers,
Some full, decorated with fruits,
Not for them to eat, but for others.
The varieties and kinds of trees are full,
They communicate and associate with each other.
Like friends, brothers, sisters, companions.
No conflicts, no disagreement, no competitions.
They have no ideas to divide,
Separate or confront their nature
They never destroy but they protect their beauty
Their lives are for others to relax with their nature.
Wind blows, and rain falls, but they tolerate,
People harm and hurt them, but they are patient.
See and look how they grow, they survive, they exist.
This is the nature and beauty of the forest.
