Kodhavagga - Anger : One should give up anger; one should abandon pride; one should overcome all fetters. Ills never befall him who clings not to mind and body and is passionless. Dhammapada Verse 221.

My Mother

Compassionate and kind-hearted
person in ths world.
When I was being brought up
She faced many troubles and challenges.
lt's hard to find a person like mother.

When she was bearing me in her-womb,
She protected me, as a child.
She didn't care about her discomforts,
But thought about my comforts.

Day and night she spent her time
for the sake of my life.
Frequently, she worked for my future
its impossible, no words to
express my mother's good qualities

The day, I was permitted to be a bhikkhu
Can't forget and difficult to remember,
So sad for me, her tearful eyes
Revealed, she lost her own treasure.

My mother, I am indebted to you,
When I consider your good qualities,
I show my gratitude and pay my respect,
By living a righteous life
Preaching the Dhamma to make human minds happy
Without hurting any body
I wish you kindly for longevity, a healthy life
and happiness!
