Monthly Meditation Retreat will be held on the Saturday 17th of January at 8:00am at Sakyamuni Sambuddha Vihara.

Monthly Meditation Retreat contains several 1hr meditation sessions, discussions on Sutta and other matters related to our own practice. All are welcome.

Theme: Maha Satipattana Sutta - Dhammanupassana+

Lunch will not be provided.

To avoid congestion in heating up food, meals that do not need heating are encouraged. Lunch time is limited to 30mins.

Note: It is typical that the meditation retreat is conducted two weeks from the Monthly Sil Program. Due to very special circumstances, this month, we were unable to follow this rule.We will be reverting to this rule from next month. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dhamma talk especially for youth in English with Pitigala Gunaratana Thero (translator: Dr. Saman Fernando). Such a valuable talk by a master of the Dhamma and meditation is a very rare opportunity not to be missed.

Everyone, including adults, is welcome to this very special talk. It would be better if you could come at 7PM for the Buddha puja and chanting to clear the mind before the talk. There's going to be a meeting on this Thursday night (18th of December) @ 8PM at the Berwick temple to make final preparations/planning for Saturday night's (20th of December) food fare to raise funds for the temple.
