About 20 people including six young people from Thurunusaviya took part in the Youth Working Bee held on Sunday the 10th of October 2004 at the Buddhist Vihara Victoria gardens. The youths mowed the huge Vihara lawns, cleaned weeds from around the Bodhi tree and flower beds and removed logs and other debris. The weather was a warm 23° celsius. Much merit to the youths who gave up their Sunday to help the Vihara.
