On Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of January was the last days of the tsuanami relief effort. On Saturday
the Lion's Club boys and girls did their last day of packing to send items such as food items, medicine and clothes
to Sri Lanka after many weeks of effort to send shipments. In the evening on the same day was the tsunami fund raiser
dinner orgnaised by Khmer, Quan Cong, Hoa Nghiem & Buddhist Vihara Victoria at the SIR International Reception, Springvale
which raised over $20,000 for Sri Lankan tsunami victims. On Sunday youth members joined to do door-to-door collections.
On Firday the 7th and Saturday the 8th of January we helped 'Friends of Lanka' and the 'Lions Club' raise
funds for Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka. Here are some of the photos. 'Friends of Lanka' raised pver $20,000 and
the 'Lions Club' over $15,000.
