Late Gangodawila Soma Thera's first year anniversary dana was held on Sunday the 12th of December 2004. About 200 people participated. A contingent of about 15 youths server alms to the attending 11 monks, in honour of the late Soma Thera who's wish was to involve Sri Lankan youth in Buddhism.
