29 youths attended the program on Sunday the 5th of December 2004. We started the day by taking the 8 precepts, doing the ana-panasati
meditation and listening to the morning sermon conducted by Ven. Wimalananda. We then had a guided metta meditation session lead
by Ven. Pasanna Manasa, followed by a group reading session of Spectrum of Buddhism by Piyadassi Thera. After lunch we went outside in the warm sun for walking meditation (sakman bhavana). We then
got into groups to discuss and share our ideas about problems we face in our everyday lives and how to deal with them in the Buddhist way. The lunch (dana) was kindly prepared and donated by the parents of the attendees.

presentation by Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda titled How to Live Without Fear & Worry. After lunch we went outside in the warm sun (19° celsius) for walking meditation (sakman bhavana). We then
got into groups to discuss and share our ideas about problems we face in our everyday lives and how to deal with them in the Buddhist way. The lunch (dana) was kindly prepared and donated by the parents of the attendees.

meditation, conducted by Ven. Wimalananda. We then had a guided metta meditation session lead
by Ven. Pasanna Manasa, followed by a video
presentation by Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda titled The Power of the Mind. After lunch we listened to an audio sermon by Bhikkhu Bodhi about the Four Noble Truths. We then

About 12 people attended the program on Sunday the 15th of August 2004. We started the day by partaking the 8 precepts and doing the ana-panasati
meditation. We then had a guided metta meditation session lead
by Ven. Pasanna Manasa. There was a discussion on how the Buddha advised his
followers to deal with defilements when they enter the mind
(Vitakkasanthana sutta), conducted by Ven. Wimalananda. In the afternoon there was an video
presentation by Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda titled The Power of the Mind. The dana was kindly prepared and donated by Harendra Jayasinghe.
